Unity 3 + iPhone + MonoDevelop debugger?

I’ve seen the info (and a video) about using MonoDevelop to debug scripts for Unity 3 projects, but it appears to be for Windows/Mac apps. Is it going to be possible to use this pipeline for debugging iPhone apps as well? I’m guessing not since the iPhone apps are launched through XCode, but I’m still hopeful.

Thanks!

no confirmation to that ?

Not much chance of that. It is already AOT compiled when on the device. You can debug only from Unity directly.

thank you for this answer.
BTW, what would be great is to have the Unity profiler profiling the actual iPad Device.
There used to be a OpenGL ES performance tool in Xcode but it is not available in the menu anymore… :frowning:

It’s there for me: “Run with Performance Tool > OpenGL ES”. Make sure you have the device build selected, not the simulator.
