Unity 3 won't start anymore

I still have Unity 3 installed in my Win 7 system.
I didn’t open it for a while and now it’s crashing on startup.
It doesn’t even reach the project choosing window.

This can only be due to some system update (maybe .NET or something like that) I think.
How can I track down this problem? I wouldn’t reinstall all the system, I have hundreds of applications installed, this would steal me one month of time to recover to my actual state.
Is there a log file for the Unity start up process? I looked in the Unity folder but couldn’t find any.
