Unity 3?

Hi,

I’m new to Unity and this site, and do not know where to post this.

I know Unity 3 is out, is there a free version that lasts forever (not the 30 day trial), or is Unity 3 another pro version? Also if Unity 3 is not free is there still a way to get the free version?

install the pro ( 30 days valid ) and it will then drop back to the basic free one.
