Unity 3d 4.1.2 doesnt open on mac

I update my version to 4.1.2. When i was trying to open it, it did not open giving error application not responding. Tried open it several time. also reinstalled it. but no use.

Then i tried to open through terminal command, that time it opened.

Does any body know why this happens??

Currently i have reverted back to older version of unity.

What’s your OS and have you tried removing it and installing it again?

OSX 10.8.3
I tried it reinstalling several times. but it din work. gave same issue…it only works when i go through terminal and open it…

Can you open up console, open Unity and check to see if there are any errors.
