I am currently creating a game environment in unity 3D and my goal is to be as detailed and realistic/atmospheric as possible. I want to keep everything as low poly as possible. Is there any rule of thumb for concerning high and low poly environments? Is this a good rout to stick to?
I have a Intel(R) Core ™ 2 Duo CPU E8400@ 3.00 GHz 2.99 GHz. I have 4 GB of memory (RAM). I also have a graphics card that supports GSLS. I use GIMP to texture and Blender to model.
