Unity 3D Motion Controller integration

Hello

Is it possible to read the input from a controller like this SixEnse to Unity 3D?

Or read the input from a Wii controller to a Desktop publication from Unity 3D?

Not out of the box, but people have written plug-ins for the Wii controller. Do a search for Wii in the Showcase section for examples.

I was more interested in the Razer SixEnse controller rather then the Wii. Do you think that is possible to read the input from the SixEnse controller to Unity 3D?

Tank you for the help.

So… Any idieas on how to get the Sixense controller to get to work with Unity?

I’m starting to develop my thesis and the decision on what tecnologies to use is really urgent, I don’t have many time to decide. For the project/thesis would be really useful to get both Unity and the Sixense Controller working together.

A also think Unity would gain much with this kind of alternative input for games, since this controller seems bether than the wii controller since it’s more accurate/precise, and it detetcs the controller absolute position and orientation, and it’s made for PC use.

If theres a chance that this controller migth work with Unity I’m willing to do everything to help the intregration. This is really importante for my work. I have other alternatives like Flash + Wii controller but It doens’t even compare to the possibilities I have if I develop my work with Unity + Sixense controller.

Regards

if its made for pc use it will work as joystick without a problem.

So Unity could read the, yaw, pitch roll, abslute position and orientation values form the sixense controller just like a normal controller?

Humm, anyone as experienced this?
