Unity 3d which format of video support?

Hi,
i am using the unity 3d trail version and i want to import the video file and play it to my scene. my doubt is the unity 3d trail version(not pro) will support the video format? if it support means which format is best?

yes its support to play video on any mesh, you need Quick Time Player for this.
.AVi,.mov and MPEG4 supported format
