Unity 4.0.1 does not start on OS X 10.8.2

Hi all,

i just downloaded Unity 4.0.1 and installed on OS X 10.8.2. However, when i start Unity, the unity symbol just pops up in the dock and disappears again. Do i miss something?

Edit: Ok, i can start Unity by using the console comand from terminal:

/Applications/Unity/Unity.app/Contents/MacOS/Unity

This starts Unity as ususal. However, clicking the applications symbol does not work a described…

Works for me in the same versions of OSX and Unity. Have you modified the app package somehow?

No, i didn’t changed anything, just installed…

Solved: I installed Unity under activated Root Account, and tried to start it logged in as Root. This does not work, however, logged in as a normal user, everything is fine.
