Unity 4.0.1f2, iOS, Gyroscope Mach-O errors?

Hi all,

Yesterday I installed the 4.0.1f2 patch. Since then I’ve been unable to build for iOS. I get the following output from XCode:

This seems to point at some problem in gyroscope handling in the Unity classes (even though our project has gyroscope turned off). If anyone can point to the problem it’d be a big help.

Thanks!

Specs:
Unity 4.0.1f2 (gyroscope is turned off in the Player settings)
Targeting iPhone/iPad, iOS 5.1+
Dev platform OSX 10.8.2
XCode: 4.5.2

I appear to have a solution. It may be a bit particular to our build process…

We have separate builds for iPhone and iPad. To that end, where Unity usually exports to a ‘Classes’ folder, we put that folder inside a ‘Common’ dir, which lives outside either project. Apparently our build script doesn’t forward the updated versions of the ‘Classes’ files (which I inherited with the update) to that custom directory. So I exported to a test location using Unity’s standard build method (not our build script), then copied the content of ‘Classes’ into ‘Common/Classes’ and now things seem to build correctly.

I am getting the same error trying to build autopilot script. I can build fine with Unity’s normal build. autopilot worked a 6 weeks ago , between then I have upgraded to OS X 10.8.x and this upgraded my Xcode and I have upgraded Unity as mew builds came out in last 6 weeks

My specs are the same as the initial poster except I am target 5.0+ instead of 5.1+

Specs:
Unity 4.0.1f2 (gyroscope is turned off in the Player settings)
Targeting iPhone/iPad, iOS 5.0+
Dev platform OSX 10.8.2
XCode: 4.5.2 4G2008a)
