Unity 4.01, windows standalone no longer saves last used resolution

well, the title says it all really; when I create a standalone build using unity 4 and change the resolution (using built in config screen), the next time I play it the resolution has reverted to default. changes to controls take effect and remain.

I checked using 3.5 and it seems to remember last used resolution settings fine.

is anyone else seeing the same behaviour?

This has always been the case for me, even in 3.5.

Also, the quality level selector has always been broken for me. Setting the Default Quality Level in the Editor never stuck - the build would choose a different quality level by default for no reason.
