Unity 4.2.2 Fails to run upon trying to start up after installation.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the software three times, and no matter what I end up with the same issue.
The application loading screen pops up for a second, only to suddenly disappear. When monitoring what happens in the task manager, it just seems to completely stop working and automatically close itself, which doesn’t allow me to see what else is going on. All I can see is that two processes underneath the Unity process pop up shortly after running, and then it just closes and completely disappears. Before I get blasted for trying to use a super old version of Unity, I have a reason for doing so. I want to develop a part mod for KSP but supposedly the package involved can’t be used in versions of Unity newer than version 4.2.2, so I figure I’m stuck using that version.
I cannot seem to find an error log, and all I know is what I have stated above. Perhaps I am missing the error log, but if not I have absolutely no clue what is going on.

OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
Version of Unity: 4.2.2

I have managed to get a screenshot of what it’s doing in the task manager by setting my update speed to low, but I don’t really know what to do from here.

There is no support for 4.2 anymore. And it wasn’t made for Windows 10 (there was no Windows 10 at the time).
If you really need this (I have no idea what does it take to mod KSP), then try to run it in compatibility mode in the OS.

But somewhere I read that KSP can be modded in Unity 2017 as well. Maybe it was wrong, but I would look into it if I were you.

Alrighty, thanks. I have installed Unity 2017 and it seems to be working now.
