Is there anything working in this nasty release? I never had a this buggy Unity release before
Now i am not able to paint my terrain with the terrain system T4M anymore. The pc freezes for several seconds after every click with the pencil tool. Which makes work impossible.
Does somebody have an equal problem? How can i find out what code doesn`t make 4.3 happy anymore? There are no warnings or hints. Just a big amount of processor useage. Painting in Unity 4.2 still works like a dream.
I made some further tests. When i update my project from 4.2 to 4.3 then i am back at the above problem. I cannot paint. When i create a new project then terrain painting works like charm. Seems that the update breaks something. I just have no clue what.
The project is much too big for a bug report. And i am nearly finished with it anyways. I think i will finish the terrain in 4.2 and upgrade my project at a later point again when i know that i don`t want to paint terrains anymore. Thanks for help.
I did a try with a blank project (4.2) with only the T4M package and the included tutorial scene. The 4.3 conversion don’t breaks the T4M paint.
I think that there is something else in your project which breaks T4M painting.

So it is something specific at my project. This is good news that it is not a general problem. It`s unfortunately impossible to find out what it is with my 3gb project folder. I´ll go the easy way now, will finish the project in 4.2 and will convert it to 4.3 at a later point for release
