Unity 4.3

Hi guys I just finished watching the keynote for the unite conference :frowning: I badly wish I could have gone, Maybe next year!

I just wanted to say that the features and enhancements you guys announced get me so freaking excited for the future of Unity. Please keep up the ridiculously fantastic work!!! You guys have been working so freaking hard, I wish I could buy you all pizza and or some steak dinners. At the very least have some virtual high fives!

Agreed. The mecanim changes alone are very, very nice. I can finally ditch our internal state driver and just use GotoState(“”). Woot! The Mecanim Event middleware on the asset store has been a godsend, but it’s also a clunky workflow (because of limited API access, not because they did a poor job with the middleware, they did awesome) - excited to have an intuitive first party solution to these problems.

I agree - Can’t wait to see the new version. The Mecanim changes (events, go to state, and blend shapes) are especially interesting. I hope I can ditch my proprietary morphing code and go straight with that. (Here’s hoping you can bake the morph).
