I have been tinkering around with the new UI and I am currently trying to create my own chat system in the game. However, the problem I am trying to figure out is how to have it whenever I activate my Input Field I can start typing in it without having to first select the UI element. I feel like this might be a simple solution however, I have not found any way of accomplishing this. I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this and has found a solution to it.
currently you need to select it as well in the event system. We have talked about changing this behaviour but not 100% if we are going to or not.
