Unity 4 memory leak in Shuriken with subemitters-birth

Anyone experiencing memory problems lately, there is a memory leak when using Shuriken emitter with birth-subemitter. This was reported to Unity yesterday and they acknowledged the issue. Our game is using Shuriken system a lot and with a lot of cannonballs flying we’re experiencing megabytes in just a few sec leaks. This memory is not release on scene changes.

Happens with the Win standalone at least, not sure about the other platforms.

If they acknowledged it, the only thing you can do is wait for it to be fixed. Maybe post the case number here, or contact them with the case number to see if they have any news about the issue.
