unity 4 upgrade

hi i currently own unity free and the ios and android version, when they upgrade to unity 4 will i have to pay to upgrade ios and android?

i dont use android so not bothered about it, but it was free at the time, probably a marketing scheme so that when they release 4 you would have to upgrade them.

Yes, major version updates are always paid updates. You don’t have to update licenses if you don’t want to though.
