Very excited to start working with the Unity 5 Beta. Is there a forum for this yet? Anyway, the first thing I noticed when I switched to 5 was created a build with the Dive head-tracking plug-in no longer works. Any thoughts on why? No build errors… Thanks!
You’ll have to consult the authors of the Dive head tracking plugin.
Yes! Unity 5 forum: Unity Engine - Unity Discussions
I can’t help with the plug-in.
Hey ibrews,
I had a problem with Builds and the oculus plugin, too. Unity 5 seems to put the dll’s in the wrong folder. After building, look in the YourGamesName_Data\Plugins folder if the dive dll is there. Otherwise you have to copy it manually.
thanks pojoih!
Please submit a bug report describing the issue, so that it doesn’t get forgotten. Thanks!
Done! But I just double checked it and what I was writing is wrong. The dlls are placed inside GameName_Data/Plugins but to actually function they have to be placed in GameName_Data/Plugins/x86 or x86_64!
So ibrews please check again if that solves the issue.
EDIT: I just saw this seems to be fixed for Oculus in Beta10 (with Oculus SDK 0.4.3), so don’t mind Case 644508
