I know Unity 5 is still far away, but I was wondering if there is any documentation around about the new lighting and material systems.
- How it works
- What it can do
- What it can’t do
- What can be tweaked to get a desired effect
- What kind of quality settings there are and what they do
- How it deals with Static vs Dynamic objects
- Any special setup for dynamic or static objects
- How the materials interact with enlighten
- etc
I watched the keynote and got a small taste of what does what, but was wondering if there are any documents to elaborate on things. This would be great, so anyone interested can familiarize themselves with the new workflow and find out what is expected to get the most out of it.
Even if they are a rough draft of the official documents to come, it would be alright.
