Unity 5 - Getting rendering artifacts when using mask and scroll rect

I’ve made a vertically scrolling panel and have applied a mask script. When you play the scene and drag/scroll the panel upwards, some parts/artifacts of the panel are visible outside the masked area where it is not supposed to be showing.

I get this issue in the editor and on PC/standalone build but it works fine on mobile(windows phone). Hope I was able to explain the issue and also check the video to understand better.

Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
