Unity 5 Graphics Showcase

Hey there!

I’m back with a new video, this time I made a “sequel” for my old graphics video that I made on Unity for 2-3 years ago.

Here is the new one:

I hope you enjoy. I decided to make it since a lot of people were questioning about how smooth Unity runs and how high graphics you can achieve in Unity 5. Let me know if you’ve got any feedback.

Looks like a high end 360 PS3 title - which is complimentary given you are one person.

Thank you very much, means a lot to me!
Do you have any feedback regarding what could be done to make it look/feel better?

Just a few things that could be included without touching the base models.
Post camera effects, color luts, shadows, volumetric lighting, high res textures, displacent mapping, linear color, model variation in the grass.

Thank you for the feedback!
The effects on camera were fully optimized (antialiasing, ambient occlusion etc.) and I decreased the intensities of them generally to make it look a bit more natural and photorealistic. I’ll definitely check into color luts more, I’ve not heard of them enough.

Nice work, and I really like seeing stuff that’s presented well.

I think the main thing missing is color correction, it seems a bit pale to me. Some more contrasting tones would make the scene have more impact imo.

Looks good but could definitely do with some nice post-processing. There seemed to be a lot a aliasing on the buildings.

Hi, thnak you very much!
Should I have had intensity higher on my post-processing effects? I thought it’d look a bit unnatural if I used it more than that, but I’ll definitely try for myself too with higher intensity on SSAO.

I wouldn’t mess around with piling on too many effects, but have you tried what it looks like with TAA enabled?

Looks good, what screen capture software did you use?

@Adam-Bailey nope, I did not get into it yet but I definitely need it for the buildings in the video. I’ll check it out, thank you!

@Gametyme I use Bandicam to record, and Camtasia Studio to edit.
