Unity 5.x Future Roadmap

Does anyone know of a Unity 5.x roadmap?

I saw a tiny roadmap for the webgl build but I’m talking about more of a general set of goals for the next 6-12 months. I’m contemplating getting unity pro and want to see where it is heading.

Especially for DX11/DX12 desktops, many of the graphics features currently are quite behind unreal 4 and other engines. Especially when it comes to particle systems which are way better in unreal currently (light emitting particles are amazing).

Anyway anyone have an idea?

We don’t currently have any published roadmap for the engine overall.

That said, we will be conducting a roadmap session at Unite Europe this coming week, where we’ll be discussing some of the upcoming features. So keep your eyes and ears open :slight_smile:
