Unity 5

This is a really stupid question probably and i’m sorry, but i really can’t understand this one.

I need some features of Unity 5 so i downloaded the newest version of Unity, 2017.1.0f3 (at the moment) which i thought was an upgraded version of Unity 5.
When i opened i noticed that the Unity version displayed under the ‘About Unity’ section was 4.6.2f1.

How can i download Unity 5 then?

If you download 2017.1.0f3 then the about section says “Version 2017.1.0f3”.

You must have installed the wrong version. Or started an old version already installed on your system instead of the new version you installed.

And yes, 2017.1.0f3 is an improved version of Unity 5.
