Unity 6 Character Joints Limits Broke!

Upgrading my project to Unity 6, character joint limits are not working along with ragdolls… completely borked! I’ve seen some other people also with Joint issues and its pretty frustrating, seems like its been a issue for a while during the beta 6 versions. I thought maybe the serialization on the joints got messed up with the new version, but they are all the same settings. Please help if anyone has a fix…

Not Working Version: 6000.0.23

Working Version: 2022.3.5

I updated my project to Unity 6 and my ragdoll is not acting the same as 2022.3.41f1 and earlier versions…

Yeah I really dont know how this got past QA, pretty big problem

I’ve looked around earlier on the forum and this is what’s going on…

It dates from May 10 but last reply from staff is from 2 days ago.

Yeah my char was setup with the rig tool, maybe its something around that

Hi I just wanted to tell you that after upgrading to 6000.0.25f1 my ragdoll is back to normal. :+1:

Ooo I’ll have to try over the weekend! Looks like in the patch notes says “Physics: Fixed CharacterJoint’s derrived axis locks being ignored. This would cause some ragdoll setups for never come to rest during simulation. (UUM-83156)”
