Unity 6 is stuck baking lighting map

Whenever i try to bake the map it always stuck. I checked everything making tick on mesh import generate lightmap vs to shadow atlas size everytime it get stuck.

i’ve tried the same meshes to LTS 2022 and it baked fine. what is wrong with this baking process ?
i’ve RTX 3070 Core i9 and 32Gb Ram with samsung nvme SSD.
this is giving me a headache.

Then i’ve to kill the process in Task manager to get out of unity.

and if i cancel it get stuck on GI.Tick. Waiting for unity code to finish message or Repaint Scene message.

We are aware of this issue. It is a problem in the lightmap postprocessing pipeline. We also have a fix that is on its way to the release line. Sorry about that.

fixed for me now on .30 with adaptive probe volumes. I also had to disable a large water plane, which I had tried to do before at some point (I think).

Wow, looks like the QA team was part of the last round of layoffs. Bold strategy!
