Unity 6 - Package Manager "My Assets" is empty (not even showing an empty list)

Since just now, the “My Assets” section of the Package Manager is completely empty. It not only doesn’t show any of my purchased assets, it shows nothing at all.

This started happening after I chose “open in Unity” in the assetstore on the web. May or may not be related. I’ve restarted, tried opening a different project - nothing.

Everything else in the editor seems to work normally. Everything else in the Package Manager works normally - Unity Registry, Services, etc. Just in “My Assets” not even the search box on top appears.

It started working again after I quit not just the editor but also the Unity Hub and restarted everything.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

It sounds like the problem you encountered might be related to a temporary glitch or a sync issue between the Unity Editor, Unity Hub, and the Asset Store. I’m glad to hear that quitting both the editor and the hub resolved the issue for you.

If this happens again, could you please attach a screenshot or the Editor.Log file? This will help us investigate the problem further and provide a more permanent solution.

Thank you!

Sure.

Here’s a (photoshopped) screenshot of what I saw:

Hi Tom,

Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

Could you please let us know if there were any errors visible in the console when this bug occurred? Additionally, you mentioned that the issue started after you clicked “Open in Unity” from the Asset Store on the web. Do you remember which specific asset you had clicked on at that time?

I have the same problem even after a full reboot. Nothing in Editor.log that looks like a failure, just nothing when opening assets. OSX 6000.0.26.

Seems to work on my windows box 6000.0.21. Meh, I’ll just download the packages and transfer.

I have also exactly same problem on mAc Os M2 Chipset

Same issue here, managed to get it to work with a full restart of the editor and the hub too. The editor alone isn’t enough.

Update: I have not yet seen this issue with 29f1

Had the same issue today, even with 33f1. The real issue was that Unity Editor was not signed in and when I clicked on sign it, it told me to install the unity hub (which I already had).
The solution for me was to close both editor and unity hub, restart unity hub and from there open the project.
Now I was logged in and could also see my assets again.

Hope it helps.

Hey! I tried this but it didn’t work for me and i’m not sure that the problem is rehappening again (maybe it’s just me). Here’s my screenshot. I’ve been trying to sign out and in on both Editor and Hub and the Asset Store PLUS ‘Quit Unity Hub’ on the small arrow icon (Show hidden icons button) and then restart my pc, it didn’t work. Signed in and download some new free Assets in the Assets website, Reopen the Hub, sign back in. Open project (aka the Editor), go to Package Manager, still shows nothing in my assets. I also tried downloading the latest Editor but still nothing. plz fix.
