Unity 6 - The grid size doesn't match the grid snapping intuitively

I’m trying out Unity 6 for the first time after using older versions of Unity for a few years, focusing particularly on making levels with probuilder.

When I set the grid snapping to 0.125, the grid visual itself changes and now the second zoom level grid appears every 1.25 units. This looks bad and is confusing. The grid should always have one zoom level that shows a 1 unit grid, especially if the snapping is evenly divisible. I want to change the grid and the snapping independently.

No that still adjusts the snapping as well as the visual. When i set the grid (and the snapping) to 0.125, the visual no longer lines up with whole number units.
