I have the error that unity starts as an admin and i dont know how to fix it should i reinstall unity
I assume you are running Windows …
Do you run it “as administrator” from the context menu?
Is the shortcut set to run the program as admin?
If neither, then your user account is probably incorrectly configured. Even if your account is in the Administrator group Windows access control should prevent apps running under administrator privileges by default, unless this has been changed on your system. If so, your system is at risk (malware likes being provided full access to everything) and you’d better fix this. Worst case: reinstall. Not Unity, but Windows.
no no i run it on windows bar right clicked it and startet it as an admin
Don’t do that!
Unity never needs to be run as admin, and the warning exists to inform you that you shouldn’t.
If you have an issue that you (or someone on the Interwebz) believe requires you to run Unity as admin, then let’s talk about that issue in the first place because there’s definitely a solution for that. But the solution is guaranteed not to run Unity as admin.
i started unity by righclickinf it on the search bar how can i turn it off
so i mean here
Normally to start an application you left-click the icon, or left double-click it if its on the desktop or in explorer.
You can place the icon anywhere, like “anheften” will place it on the start menu. You can also pin it to taskbar.
