Unity ads play on Scene launch

So I just recently set up Unity Ads using the livestream tutorial, pretty much reusing most of that code, and I’ve created a timer method to make sure the user has been playing for a certain amount of time before they see an ad. However, every time the scene with my ad manager launches, it runs an ad. I only have one call to ShowAd(), which is in my GameOver() method. I have no idea why this is happening, since there is no other call to ShowAd() anywhere in my scripts. Is there some sort of play on launch property that I’m missing? Any insight would be great!

I was able to solve the issue by removing the “SimpleAds” script made in that tutorial. Worth mentioning here because it’s easy to miss, and includes an immediate call to show an ad.
