Unity Ads was not able to get current network type due to missing permission

We’ve just rolled out our brand new app to production with static banner ads. Test ads are working fine (all being controlled from Unity Dashboard > Monetization > Settings > Test Mode, this was now changed from “Force test mode ON” to “Force test mode OFF”, so it’s now “Using production ads for all devices”) but we are not able to see any ads on the actual app.

See image attached with actual device logs.

It has two conflicting messages in my opinion:
“Unity Ads was not able to get current network type due to missing permission”,
“No fill for placement ArtsSelectorBanner”

I understand the the second one pretty much means that there are no ads available, but first message suggest that are are network permission issues? If that’s true, then why did it still try to fetch those ads in first place if there are network issues?

I’ve tried setting Unity project settings > Android > Other Settings > Internet Access - “required”. But it didn’t seem to have any difference.

Any help would be appreciated.
