Unity API Reference (Help.UnityAPIReference) Unusable

I’m currently using Visual Studio with Unity 4.6.x on Windows 8.1 Pro.

I’ve set up both the hotkey and a toolbar per this thread, however this trick seems to work only once.

The hotkey no longer works and the toolbar button gets grayed out after the first use, rending the entire API Reference unusable.

Does anyone have a solution for this? (An additional followup question would be how to use Chrome rather than VS’s built-in browser).

Hello @hyunl,

Unfortunately I have the same issue. The only way I found to get around this problem is to right click on browser (API reference) tab and hide it instead of closing. Then I just restore it with ctrl+alr+r.
Still looking for better solution though…
