Unity Asset Server on Debian

Hi,

i’m trying to get the asset server to work on my debian vserver. I used the install guide from unity3d.com. The installation seems to work fine, but there is a problem with the postgresql-connection which i can’t work out.

At the end of the installation (i used the source and install.sh) i get:

ERROR: relation “all_databases__view” does not exist

and after typing a new admin password i get:

ERROR: role “admin” does not exist

Any ideas how to get it running?

Thanks in advance

From the docs:

Installing the deb package
Run the following commands on the server:

wget http://download.unity3d.com/asset_server/unity-asset-server_2.0.1_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i unity-asset-server_2.0.1_i386.deb

If this is a new installation, you will also have to supply an initial password for the admin user:

sudo /opt/unity_asset_server/bin/reset_admin_password

When prompted, please supply a new password for the admin user.

You should now be able to fire up Unity and use it to create projects and users on the newly installed Asset Server.

Note: if you don’t have wget installed on the server, you should download the tgz file to your local machine and use some other means to transfer it to the server, such as scp or an ftp client.

You could also simply double-click on the deb file after downloading, if you are running a graphical desktop on the machine.
