So i reacently started using unity and i cant import a 3d object into unity from blender i saw hundres of tutorials and it the tutorials people add it into assets folder i did that and its still says blender not found in the videos 3d objects are showing and you can add them to the scene but the only thing i can see is the name of my 3d object help
well i dont know becaus i use cheetah3d not blender but i think it may be one of those things that are supported not natively by unity but rather by calling out to the external program to assist with the import so if it doesnt work 4 u then maybe u need to tell unity where blender is located but im not entirely sure how u do that but i bet if u look around u can find some docs or tutorials on setting up blender for use with unity the other thing u could do is export from blender to some more standard format like obj which unity can read directly i bet that will work fine sorry i couldnt be more helpful but hopefully this points u in the right direction
as said Joe Strout Try to export your models from blender to .obj or .fbx format …it works for me…the format .fbx supports bones and animations…use any of them thinking how you need to use them…be sure to export them in the right size for better view in the unity scene…
