I am at Linux, and i have Unity Hub installed, today i saw in a Webpage the different build targets for Unity and they are a lot but in my system i only have 8, the “basic” ones, i would like to develop also in VR and other more targets, but i dont see that option in Unity here in Linux. That website though, had some Component Installers for different targets, VR, and a lot more, but they were all towards Windows or Mac, no Linux. Could someone explain me this please? or a Link to where to download all this ? Linux development seem so different than Windows and Mac, even in Unity s Editor. Thank you.
Additional build targets need to be downloaded. They’re not included by default because some of them are large, and some of them are locked behind special licenses (eg the console build targets require you have developer licenses from their respective manufacturers).
To download additional build targets, open Unity Hub, click Installs, click the three dots to the right of the release you want them for, and click Add Component. From there you just select the ones you want and click Done.
Sorry @Ryiah .-
I have tried what you say, but the three dots only bring to me the options save as preferred and remove from list, and nothing more Now that i remember i had already looked at the Installs tab, but as now i havent found nothing more than that.
Unfortunately despite being a fan of Linux I have no experience with using Unity on Linux and I don’t know if any of the other people in Getting Started do either. At this point your best bet will be to create a thread in the section dedicated to running the editor on Linux.
