I’ve got a large folder for Unity in ~/Library/Caches/com.unity3d.UnityEditor on my Mac. Can this be cleared periodically? To be clear, this is not within any of my Unity project folders. I saw a couple other possibly related posts, but wasn’t sure if those referred to caching within a Unity project.
For me there are only two folders in my ~/Library/Caches/com.unity3d.UnityEditor on my mac, one of which is 95% of the folder size. And that folder was GiCache. I did some searching and found this: Unity - Manual: GI cache
Seems like you may not want to delete it as it is shared across your unity projects and it is to speed up your load times for any Global Illumination heavy projects.
If you refer to the link above, there are options to limit the cache size and also to clear it. Hope this helps!
