Unity causes a whole bunch of random windows to open up when importing a project

First time user of unity and and I download the stealth demo. First time importing this and upon decompression it blows up my whole desktop with random windows, including my taskbar apps!

I’m using windows 8, on this pc

Update: I restarted Unity and re-downloaded the package before importing, and it seems to work fine now
