I just did the UCP Unity Certifed programmer exam in the old version (the one based on 2017) and I thankfully passed with a score just above 500.
I have been using unity for almost three years for work and university but I wasn’t making games.
Preparing for the test while working was difficult, and I really appreciated all the help I got from the community so I wanted to share my experience.
I started with the course suggested from unity, and then I bought the 90 questions from person VUE to test my preparation.
With my first trial I got 50% of tests passed but in a lot of time and lacking a lot on the art pipeline topics.
So I started studying from this doc
That I reccommend 100% even if lacks a lot for the part of unity IAP, unity testing and unity networking (MLAPI) which I studied doing tutorials on youtube and reading the unity docs.
I guess I can’t say a lot about the questions but I suggest you to look on the internet for questions asked during the interviews for a unity dev job: it may help you to understand your preparation and study on the topic you lack the most.
