Unity "cheat sheet"?

Hi. As I am new to Unity, and a heavy user of 3ds Max for modeling, the change in interfaces for navigating and moving stuff around gets really confusing.

Is there a “unity cheat sheet” that quickly lists things like basic 3d navigation control hotkeys/actions and such? Prefereably in a printable format so that I could have it on my desk and not have to open the Unity manual to get to it.

I keep having to reread the manual on navigating the world every time I switch the programs, and it’s slowing me down a lot. :frowning:

Switch to maya

I wish there was. I jump between 3ds max, unity, mudbox, motion builder and some other apps and I have to sometimes just push a few buttons to remember my short cut keys but it usually takes me a few seconds to remember the keys but for the most part they are all the same to me.

Can’t afford Maya after investing in Max, plus I’ve been using Max for a while and have learned the interface. I’m sure any 3d modeler here can understand that “switch to program x” isn’t as simple as it sounds.

Looks like I’ll have to make my own cheat sheet then sometime. Thanks for the replies.

Didn’t mean to be rude, just that Maya’s navigation keys are similar as unity’s. I hate jumping over to Photoshop, always pressing the Alt key to move the canvas.

I already ask if they could do a Unity3D “Quick ref card” or cheat sheet

We should push a bit
