hi,
i have just upgraded my iMac OS to snow leopard and found that i am not able to start UNITY 3D. and also i am not able to open any of my previous projects made on it.
May i know why it is happening so, is it because of UNITY 3D 1.0. Should i upgrade it to UNITY 3D 1.5. Will that work with my current OS (snow leopard).
Pls help me. Give me a solution for this, I have tried using new account on my iMac and also its not showing any message in log, i mean there are no error messages in the system console.
I doubt that unity 1.x will work on SL at all.
Its support ended when 10.5 was released if not even before and thus targeted at 10.4 which is a day and night difference to 10.6
Ask apple why they enjoy breaking compatibility all the time …
I guess your only realistic option is a move to “today” if you decide to leave the past OS behind you and get a current non backward compatible one, which means to Unity 2.x, where 2.5.1 works and 2.6 will officially support it.
But 100% definitive answers are only possible for UT if at all.
Sorry for not mentioning, I have been using Unity 3D iPhone 1.0 and lik to know wether the new UNITY 3D iPhone 1.5 would support the snow leopard OS.
Ah iphone.
Yupp 1.5 works without any problem, same goes for 1.0.3 (have both installed in parallel through folder and app renaming as I need both at the same time for freelance work)
