Unity Curricular Framework

Hi All!
I am a teacher in New Jersey and I started a Game Design course. I am excited to use the UCF and I was wondering if there is anyone else who has used it that would be able to discuss how to go about starting one of the lessons.

Hope to hear from someone soon.
Thanks!!

Have you downloaded the Unity Educator Toolkit?
http://edu.unity3d.com/toolkit/

Dang I’ve known of unity for years and that’s a first I’ve heard of that lol.
Do you have to be a real teacher to download it? I looked at the page and it asks for all sorts of personal info.

I wouldn’t mind just checking it out.

Well, it hasn’t been around for years; its relatively new.

From the website:

Im not part of the Education Team so can’t say whether a non-educator can or can’t sign up. But could try it anyway?

@Andy-Touch : Sounds good lol… I might try it when I have time… So many distracting things on the forums I gotta refrain from lol.

No, I just filled it out and clicked download. It immediately gave me a link to a file on Amazon’s Cloud.

I have. Are you a teacher???

Of some sorts, yes.

The framework is brand spanking new. This post was the first I’d heard of it. Chances are you are breaking new ground using it.

However it would be great for everyone if you share your experiences here!

Hey Guys, I realize this was last touched on over a year ago, but I was wondering if there were any updates. I’ve also started a Video Game course in Belmont, CA and right now we have 1 quarter as an intro to unity and a second full year of Unity and Maya. I was wondering how things had developed and could find someone to share lesson plans with and talk about sequencing the lessons for maximum learning! Thanks in Advance
