Unity Curtain Showcase

Hey Guys!

Last week we developed a small demo application showing a curtain simulation. It’s possible to open and close the curtain and choose some different curtain material. The curtain behaves like real cloth flagging from one side to the other.

To Start the demo:

I’d be very interested in seeing a wire-frame version of it and also a fps counter.

Question, did you leave the timeScale at 1.0, if so I’d love to see it with a timeScale of say 1.75 or even 2.0.

Here comes wireframe view of the curtains. One curtain have a resolution of 60 particles in x- and 10 particles in y-direction. So one curtain contains 1200 Triangles.

Nice work.

The framerate’s pretty low, though. I bet you could lower the fidelity on the chair and vase (does the vase really need to be transparent/displacing?), as well as the tessellation on the curtains and look even better by running faster.

Anyway, very nice.
