Unity.dll Failed to load

Hello everyone, when I try to create a new project I get a notification that says: The code execution cannot proceed because Unity.dll failed to load. Make sure you meet Unity’s system requirements. I think I installed everything correctly in Unity Hub, and based on the requirements that the page says, my PC more than meets the requirements.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Unity hub several times trying to fix this error.

Having same issue
Opening existing projects or creating new ones,
Also it coincided w installing Unreal earlier the same day

probably some antivirus marked the dll as fallacious. just to be sure your system works correctly download a different unity version

I have the same issue on my Windows 11 machine… It works fine on my Windows 10 backup rig, but for the love of me I can’t figure out what’s blocking that unity.dll from running… I’m trying to install the 2024H2 Windows 11 update now, maybe that’ll work.

I’m experiencing the same thing, I’ve also updated Windows 11 like yours. But it doesn’t solve the problem.

What is the solution to solve this problem?

Updating to 2024H2 didn’t do the trick… I don’t really have my antivirus on, I don’t think it’s the firewall either. I tried reinstalling unity a few times with “run as admin” with no luck. I can’t seem to be able to troubleshoot any other conflicts it may have… I don’t know if it’s the installation problem (that it fails to properly install) or launching the problem (that it fails to run necessary requirements to launch the .dll, I dunno…).

Unfortunatelly I believe reinstalling my windows altogether would do the trick, which is sad. I should be able to identify the issue! I don’t know why it has to be so difficult to troubleshoot.

I am having this same issue, I have tried completley uninstalling and removing anything unity related, reinstall the hub and unity editor with no luck. Even tried reinstalling windows and it still doesn’t work?

Any body got the solution for above problem …plzzz let me knoww

The same is here, fresh install of unityhub and unity editor, win10.

I resolved the issue by resetting my laptop or restoring it to factory settings.

It worked perfectly!

I suspect the problem was related to the file system on my laptop, as I had previously tinkered with its settings.

Inresolved the issue by uninstall others hub unity version i don’t use

It also got resolved for me when I reinstalled Windows 11 altogether… simple repair or reinstalling hub didn’t work for me initially.

I fixed the problem by disabling the antivirus on my device, for some reason the antivirus program was preventing unity from running its engine.

I fixed the problem by reinstalling the engine again

You need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010.

Make sure you have Microsoft visual studio Community installed with “Game development with Unity Component”
