Unity does not respond after clicking build button for Android

unity does not respond after clicking build button for Android
i an using windows 7 64 bit

it freezes when looking for the android sdk?

close unity and click the button again and don’t interact with unity. it will show a folder selector window for you to define the path of the android sdk, but if you click into the main window it will hide behind unity and it can be tricky to get it back in front

Had the same issue.
For a one time thing, open task manager (ctrl+shit+escape) then go to processes and find java. End task java and it will finish building.

For an all time fix, open the Android SDK Manager and remove any instances of android 1 and android 3. That solved my problem.

removing android 3 shouldn’t be required but:

  1. Remove all pre 2.1 SDKs (if you want to include galaxy s in targeting you can remove 2.1 too as Unity requires android 2.2 on galaxy s)
  2. Ensure you don’t have more than 6 SDKs installed
  3. Ensure you have the 32bit java version present, just in case

I had the same issue.

Update:
Problem solved with:
Only two SDKs: 2.2 and 2.3.3.

Following is my set-up:
Windows 7 x64 with,
Unity 3.3.0f4
Java 1.6 (x64 and x86) Update 26
JDK 1.6 (x64 and x86) Update 26
Device: Samsung Galaxy GT-I9000
Android: v2.2
