I’ve already reported this via email as a bug but got nothing as a response so far, not even an automated message. I simply paste the same text here:

What happened
Clicked on Unity.exe, the process is showing up for a moment in the task manager but then disappears. This problem happened for me in the past with the old unity engine and I thought 3.0 will fix it and waited for it. But the problems still exists. So I guess it’s something specific to my system.

How can we reproduce it using the example you attached
Well, I don’t think you simply can reproduce it except it crashes for you when it starts.
I would attach any log files for you if I could find any. If there are any please tell me where and if not It might be a good idea to write some kind of log when the editor starts? I’ve sent my dxdiag log with the email.
My system is an up to date Windows 7 64.
The sad thing is I want to try to make a small game with Unity to evaluate it and I really might want to buy it then. But that there is not any kind of a response to the bug report does not make the support look very reliable to me. Do i have to become a paying customer before my bug reports are taken serious?
