Hello guys.
I am having a problem which i didnt manage to solve. When i try to edit script by double pressing the script, nothing really launches. In my “Preferences” tab i have set everything correct (attachment1). I’ve tried reinstalling both unity and visual studio but it didn’t work out. I have all packages updated (attachment 2). If i set unity to open scripts by file extension it does open, but IntelliSense doesn’t work for unity’s packages. How to fix it? It’s driving me crazy ![]()
This may help you with intellisense problems:
Also, try update the VSCode package inside of Unity: Window → Package Manager → Search for Visual Studio Code Editor → Press the Update button
Also, this: No suggestions in Vscode
You seem not to have read my post at all. I’ve done every single step you said about and i’ve written it.
Anyway i managed to fix the problem by uninstalling (removing) both packages: visual studio code editor and visual studio editor
You are correct. I don’t use Windows because I don’t have time to fix OS bugs. But I keep a list of handy links because other Unity users are stuck in that environment and hardly a day goes by here without somebody howling about how Visual Studio has let them down in some significant way.
Yes, this is usually the fastest approach when using products from that company.
