I installed Unity 5.6.0b10 yesterday, and today I see there is 5.6.0b11, I tried to update from Help > Check for updates… But it shows Unity is up-to-date with version 5.6.0b10. Is there a way to update the beta to latest beta, or only way is to download the installer and go through whole installation process again.
I don’t think this function of Unity ever really worked.
It works as intended. It’s not meant for beta versions and public final releases have safety time before they are added there to everyone.
You always manually install beta versions.
