Unity Download Assistant very slow

Hi. Every now and then, new updates and patches are released for Unity. The easiest way to download these which I see is through Unity Download Assistant as it contains all the downloadable components such as platforms, Standard Assets etc. But downloading via Download Assistant is very slow. If I download the Unity Editor directly without the Download Assistant its very fast but the problem is that I cannot find remaining components to download directly. So, following are my questions:

  1. Can I download all components directly without Unity Download Assistant?
  2. Is there a way to speed up Unity Download Assistant?

I can confirm slow download with the unity DL assistant. I’m getting about 1.7 to 2.25mb /sec. I checked speedtest.net to San Francisco from San Antonio and got about 109mb/sec (I have gigabit DL cable modem) so it isn’t on my end. Unity server may be busy or just throttled.
