Hey, everytime i try to download Unity it comes up with an error saying that the media is damaged or something?
If someone could help me out i would be very grateful thanks.

Two things:

  1. What kind of file does the Windows version of Unity download as?
  2. What’s the exact message you get?

well the error message is: installer integrity check has failed. common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. contact the installer’s auther to obtain a new copy.

and it downloads as the unity installer.

When I say kind of file I mean .zip or .exe.

Maybe your anti-virus is getting in the way.

I’m a Mac user so I can’t be of too much help. Look here for a possible solution.

try later on maybe the ISP carrier is having network issues

symptoms persist try downloading something else off the net

symptoms persist look at your own network

symptoms persist replace either router or network card

symprtoms persist bad memory

if this happens to me (it does sometimes over wifi) then it’s simply because the file didn’t finish downloading. This is common with some weaker wifi connections. Stick a cable in the router and try again, or just try again.
