So my problem is when I try to download unity through unity hub, the download stays at zero, and If I try to manually download Unity editor then add it to unity hub then open the editor, the editor never goes past the flash screen.
My guess is something is blocking the Internet connection between unity and whatever it needs to check the license/download the editor.
**Stuff That I tried: **
1.Disabling Firewall
2.Uninstalling then Re-installing everything
3.Opening packages.unity.com download.packages.unity.com upm-cdn.unity.com through google chrome
4.Tried installing unity 5.x. It also would get stuck at the flash screen, so what I did was I cracked unity 5.x and then It opened
What I Believe is the reason:
Back In 2012 when I was a 12 year old, I download unity 4.x and cracked it (I know pirating is bad but I was 12, didn’t have money, and in my country pirating programs is more common than buying them, sadly) Then I used it for fun and stuff, nothing serious, then recently (at age 17) I decided that I wanted to do game development seriously. So I thought I should get a license and work legally, But sadly I am facing this problem. So what I think happened is whatever cracking program I used back then is blocking the new unity and the unity hub from accessing the internet.
Any help You can give is greatly appreciated
PS:I don’t know if it helps, but I still have the old cracking program on a CD.
