Hi, I’m new to Unity ![]()
Update : I found this thread : NVIDIA GTX 1080 and Unity3D editor incompatibility - Questions & Answers - Unity Discussions - There seems to be an incompatibility with my graphics card. The temporary fix with -force d3d9 helps, but I don’t like the idea of running at d3d9 instead of d3d11 ![]()
I just tried to create a really simple 2D game (2 moving objects, 7 objects on screen) in Unity 5.5.0f3, and it has really really low FPS in the game window - but my PC isn’t even close to its limits. I also tried the “demo app” and it’s the same behaviour there - I made a small video :
Unitys performance editor shows extremely high rendering times, but neither my CPU nor my GPU get anywhere above 30% usage, both aren’t even thinking they need to increase their clock speeds.
Do I need to change any settings so Unity uses my ressources or am I doing something wrong? My driver versions are all not older than a month or two, my BIOS is on the newest version.
My PC :
Windows 10 Home
Geforce GTX 1080
Intel Core i7 6800K
16 GB DDR4-2666
Asus X99-A II
