Unity Editor Lagging Issue

Hello all,

So I was working with Unity 2017.2.1f1 yesterday and it was running smoothly. I was updating a scene to be rendered overnight once I left work. When I came into work this morning, Unity had been closed and my Oculus startup page was on the screen (not sure if this was due to an automatic Windows update or someone messing with my computer). At any rate I open Unity and my scene is not rendered; not a big deal I’ll just re-render. The issue came when I tried working on the scene again in the editor. I now have a lagging issue that makes working with Unity near impossible. I’m not sure if this is a Unity issue or a computer issue or if simply fully rendering the scene will resolve hidden issues since the process had been interrupted. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So a little update; I believe Oculus had an update recently which affected Unity. I read somewhere that people were having issues with the OVR Service from Oculus so I disabled automatic updates (a little late I know but the deed has already been done) and Unity runs slightly smoother now. It is still lagging however. I’m going to try uninstalling and reinstalling both Oculus and Unity to see if the simplest of solutions works.
